The blog world can certainly get a move on when it wants to and having given birth here this morning to the idea (it feels like that sometimes, labour time varies, this one was swift) of a Blog Booker-thon, Susan Hill has picked up the baby this afternoon, tweaked it a bit (didn't hurt) and come up with the Blogger's Book Prize 2007 and a very generous £1000 for the winner to be voted for by the genuine readers of the litblogging world.
Lots of detail to be worked out but firstly the blog world needs to know about it and comment so hi thee to Susan's blog and suggest away.
PS To clarify this is NOT a blog prize, those already exist, this will be a prize awarded to a book nominated and voted for by LitBloggers.
