I see the Booker judging panel has been announced and sadly I don't seem to be on it again.
This year though, good news, the longlist is to be limited to 12 books.Very welcome after the scurry of the last few years when those of us who have always had a go at reading along have had to source 20 or so books from the library service or beg from publishers.
Then try and read them in an impossibly short time, Booker-thon 2006 will take you to all those posts and the madness that it all was.
Every year I say I won't do it and every year something grips me and I can't bear not to at least try, thereby maintaining my 100% record of NEVER choosing the winner.
I might as well admit it now, I'm constantly in training, always at the peak of fitness, so fully expect the dovegreyreader Bookerthon to be on again as usual.
Anyone going to join me?
