....me again, yes two birthdays a year now just like the Queen.
Don't expect anything remotely serious on here today because I'm sick with excitement at being TWO YEARS OLD !
Yes today is dgr scribbles' second birthday and I was awake early and tuning into my inner child. I've already had a big helping of chocolate hedgehog button cake and drunk lots of fizzy and will have a big tantrum later because it's all too much and I'll probably be sick as well.
No plans to wax lyrical about how many blog posts two years old equals, (oh alright then 1212) or how many comments (oh if you insist 6120) or how much I love you all, or how grateful I am to you all for pitching up to read day in day out, because you must all be sick to death of hearing all that. Please accept that it is all a daily blessing to us all chez dgr scribbles and one that is never ever taken for granted. I love to get all your e mails off-blog as well as comments on, and I do reply eventually.
I look back and am grateful for the day I decided to take the plunge and see if there was anyone out there.
But what on earth can we do all day?
Well, wherever you are you absolutely must have a little frivol because don't you think life just gets too serious sometimes?
Just try not to end up on the naughty stair.
And I think we should have also have a blogparty so please ask a grown-up if you can come and then we'll play musical blog chairs and musical statues and probably do a round of pass the parcel and at the end of all that we'll have jelly and ice cream, and then we'll blow out the candles and if there's any cake left you can all take some home wrapped in a serviette.
But no party complete without party bags and I have ten fantastically super special fabulous surprise books to give away which I've bought out of my pocket money especially for all you inner children out there.
So if you fancy having a frivol and being two years old again, names in comments and we'll have a good old fashioned prize draw if it turns out that more than ten people in the whole world can prove they are as young as me.
Meanwhile here's some colouring for you to do and perhaps check with a grown-up that it's OK to use wax crayons on the computer screen?
