The plan was to do a post on the Tinker's Tapestries, and I promise you it is on its way, but when I nipped over to see him for a cup of tea yesterday, and to take some pictures of them all, it would really have helped if I had taken my camera with me.
Suffice to say he is busy tapestrying again, two beautiful panels from the Ehrman book and I will update you soon.
Meanwhile I was idly looking on the Ehrman website and noticed they had a sale...
and a bit of me thought how nice it might be to have some tapestry on the go through the winter...along with the knitting knitsuke and the endless quilts, so I was talking myself out of it but kept browsing because they really are so lovely.
I don't see why I should keep this den of temptation to myself.
And then I saw this...
And what a lovely way to immortalize him, so only a couple of clicks before all this arrives...
'Bet I know who ends up finishing that..'
No, no no, I really am going to do this one.
Lamerton Produce and Craft Show this weekend. Not our village but the one right next door who are resurrecting their village show after many lapsed years, we have defected and have entries, well we can just enter all the stuff we've been exhibiting in our own for years can't we, just a shame we've eaten every last scraping of Bookhound's Champion Chutney.
Book coherence returns here next week. I have already read one off the Booker longlist that I would love to win.
