..to London again with technology in tow though apologies for anything that may not look quite right, it's still in the experimental stages, but I am very much looking forward to tonight's event at The Biographer's Club. Three hours to think about what to say in my 'three minutes but no longer than five' introduction about what I do and books etc, and then some interesting questions to ponder around the topic of book reviews in general. My favourite sort of debate and I know some of you will be there so it would be great to chat afterwards if you have time. Diana, if you have made it from California I am going to be seriously impressed...
Talking as we are of biographies, and for anyone with a Kindle, today's Daily Deal is Now All Roads Lead to France by Matthew Hollis, a steal at 99p and thank you to Curzon for the tip-off.
The good news is I am sitting on the sea side of the train, I have hot chocolate and a wireless connection and time to browse a few sites too. News of one has just arrived this morning, a site for Nordic Women's Literature, http://nordicwomensliterature.net/ and I feel some new reading directions coming on... Selma Lagerlof... can anyone advise??
