... the Gamekeeper's new gundog puppy who has been to visit... an eight-week old Cocker Spaniel, and like all puppies very plumptious and completely adorable
It doesn't seem five minutes since Rusty arrived but he is almost three and now moves into the seniors...
...especially as he has fathered a litter of little Rustys this year...except they are all Rustyettes. Four daughters (bit like the Romanovs) and Bookhound and I have decided to adopt one, because truth be told, much as we love old labrador Barney we are also missing all the bouncy dog life around here now that the sprightly young things have moved up to the Gamekeeper's cottage with him.
Watch this space...she is currently two weeks old and will be moving in with us after the Olympics.
