National Poetry Day 2012: Download 60 Poems for 60 Years
To celebrate National Poetry Day 2012, Faber is giving away an audio download of Carol Ann Duffy's anthology Jubilee Lines.
Commissioned to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the collection features a dazzling array of contemporary poets, each writing about one of the sixty years of Her Majesty's reign, and addressing a moment or event from their chosen year, be it of personal or political significance or both. The result is a unique portrayal of the country and times in which we have lived since 1953, and an essential portrait of today.
