Hello chums, Magnus here.
Well I don't mind telling you I held my breath while she read that one out, because this Christmas palava is all new to me. I was thinking a feline would probably have slotted in between the Goose and the Duck, and was mightily relieved that no cats seem to have been sacrificed in the making of the Wenceslas Christmas Pie.
I'm not bothered about everything else...fair game for game fare and all that, and am hoping something akin will be served up here out of a Whiskas pouch.
Nell (a pain...a complete pain) and I are getting pretty excited about a Christmas tree too and will probably declare a truce in order to enjoy it to the full. I mean a tree indoors, just imagine the fun we are going to have with that.
I am in training.
Anyway, in the meantime five prize draw copies of Wenceslas by Carol Ann Duffy can go worldwide, names in comments as usual and I'll stir myself on Advent Sunday (though Stir Up Sunday was actually last week) to choose the winners.
