I usually post a lovely picture of primroses and violets on Easter Sunday...this one...
But I thought I can't keep dragging that old bunch of flowers out year after year, I really should go and take a new picture. Except I haven't had time to go out and look properly, and in any case I don't think the primroses are quite this plumptious yet, it's been far too cold.
So anyway, searching around for a bunch of something else I could present as an Easter offering I came across this bunch of sleeping cat...
I'll leave you to rearrange and figure out what bit belongs where etc.
If you celebrate Easter I hope you have a gloriously peaceful day.
If you don't I still hope you have a gloriously peaceful day.
After such a busy and exhausting few weeks we plan to just 'play' for the day, especially as the clocks have gone forward and the day will fly by, it will be tomorrow before we know it. I doubt I will get much further than the sofa because I have a very lovely book on the go which I haven't read since I was about thirteen, and which I am enjoying enormously all over again. I am not giving you any clues about the title (no, it's not on the sidebar) because it's a secret which I will write about on a very topical and appropriate day soon.
Oh alright...here's an edited snippet of a clue that will send you in completely the wrong direction, but someone will still guess it I'm sure...
'When ****** had fallen off the pier at the age of six her mother went in thirty feet after her, sixteen stone, royal blue afternoon dress. A straight dive, like the dive of an ageing mammoth. The reporter from the West Worthing News came to make a story of it and said to Edwina, 'Your mother swum the channel didn't she?...'
How about you....good book on the go for the holiday weekend??
