This is so exciting and Rocky and Mrs G. are doing a great job apart from the mix-up with some of the Virago winners and the bcc omission, everyone thought everyone else had won and not them, sorry.
Margaret in NY, Ruth and Cheryl Collins will all receive a copy of An Angel at my Table by Janet Frame.
Copies of Janet's previously unpublished novel Towards Another Summer will be winging their way to Maggie May, Rebecca Wood and Carole Dilley.
Meanwhile a copy of Katherine Mansfield's short stories will be going to Thelma, Carol and Melanie.
We've also done The Story of a Marriage draw in the hope that the books can at least get on their way to Anna, Kevin (hallelujah at last) Katy and Jilly who squeaked in last over the finish line but Mrs Glosser does love a tryer.
Last call for a couple of non-responders, Marion...where are you? You won the Macmillan copy of Touching Distance and a surprise proof book, and chrissussex, Fred Astaire is just desperado to foxtrot your way.
For this NZ themed trip Rocky (with bells on) has decided to dash and prance in harness on the dovesleigh with some
sweet little kiwis (in Devon these can fly, we feed them something different) and he has promised not to eat them, because in fact
if he looked at another dish of food he might just explode. Please do not feed him when he arrives (he'll insist but just be stern) or you may be stuck with him, getting
airborne increasingly tricky and you may need to give him a bit
of a push-start, praise be for the kiwis.
