...starring in BBC TV Christmas production of this book.
Sorry, sorry was that a bit misleading, I couldn't get it all on one line...
I haven't even thought about what might be on TV over Christmas but I do know that the BBC have a new production of John Buchan's The Thirty-Nine Steps planned and it's probably about time.
We're just going to have to put up with Rupert Penry-Jones instead of Robert Donat as Richard Hannay, so I suppose that will be compensation for the fact that he won't be dangling off the clock face of Big Ben in this new production, which is apparently more faithful to the original story.
So to round off our weekend of espionage and meeting a wannabee James Bond, three prize draw copies of The Thirty-Nine Steps by John Buchan from Oxford University Press, because it would seem most of us have forgotten the original 1915 story after watching the Hitchcock version so many times down the years.
With apologies to anyone who may have googled Rupert and been disappointed but why not enter the draw while you're here?
Names in comments and these can go worldwide and remember Spy Rule 11 : If You Haven't Got It, Fake It. Rocky will deliver these looking remarkably like Rupert Penry-Jones, we are working on the disguise right now.
