Behind the scenes, Typepad, who I pay monthly for this reasonably glitch-free blog space (not knowing when I set it up three years ago that there were some good free blog providers out there) works away at improvements and frequently sends messages urging me to try something new, which I usually ignore.
Now it seems they have forced my hand and finally insisted I move over to the new software for something called my dashboard from where I control operations and I am all at sixes and sevens. After three and a bit years I could do it all in my sleep (but didn't) and now my beloved compose screen is all different, the photo-text-wrapping button won't work, the list of posts and the draft/ published symbols have changed format and half your comments aren't coming through to my email, the potential for gaffes is enormous; none of which is of any interest to all of you but it feels as if I've moved house.
Apologies if any furniture seems to be in the wrong place, just give it a week and I'll have forgotten what the old dashboard looked like and discovered all the helpful improvements I'm sure, but meanwhile I found this meme at Harriet's who I think found it at Cornflower.
It all kept me up very late one night.
