So twenty becomes six with the announcement of the Orange Prize shortlist today

And I think you can imagine my delight after yesterday's post on Kathleen Winter's Annabel, and Great House by Nicole Krauss a few weeks ago. I had also made a start on The Memory of Love by Aminatta Forna and was already sensing my high hopes for its inclusion.
But let delight not be confined to books because I'm also relieved that the wisteria has survived the winter and is in flower, so I have combined two delights into one for this gratuitous picture of the five books I have and some blossom.
