I have a request for you today...for questions.
Curzon, a regular commenter here and a member of Team Edward Thomas, is gamely going to represent Team ET at a recording for a forthcoming edition of BBC Radio 4's Book Club with James Naughtie, where the chosen book for discussion will be Now All Roads Lead to France. The author, Matthew Hollis, will be answering the questions which Curzon has to submit by this Friday (27th) for selection prior to recording, and the programme will be broadcast on Sunday November 3rd at 4pm.
It is a book many of us loved and we had some great discussions about at the time, as well as wonderful blog posts from team members various (remember Hilary's Adelstrop train journey and Fran's pilgrimage to the war cemetery and Edward Thomas's grave on our behalf ) I for one have been reading Edward Thomas's poetry regularly ever since...
So would any of you like to suggest questions for Curzon to ask Matthew Hollis about the book??
About Edward Thomas...
About war poets...
About anything else connected...
Please do add them in comments and I will add mine too.
