I was given a new toy for Christmas, a little tripod to hold my mobile phone safely whilst it does a time-lapse video. This is infinitely preferable to propping it up and hoping it's still there an hour later.
Much as I would like to I wouldn’t normally stand for an hour and watch the mist rolling and clearing around the Tamar Valley, especially on this glorious Wednesday morning because it was my Dartmoor day with my Walking Friend. So with grateful thanks to my phone for sitting outside on the bedroom windowsill and doing the Standing & Staring for me while I packed my rucksack and made the flask of hot chocolate (oh alright, Bookhound made that) and to the birds for flitting in and out of the picture. By the time I went back for it the phone battery was flat but the sun was shining.
My next challenge is The Bird Table....
